Keyword Revealer is a web-based keyword research tool built around one idea: find long-tail keywords that a small site can actually rank for. You type a seed keyword, get suggestions with search volume and cost per click, and then "evaluate" the ones you like to get a difficulty score from 0 to 100 based on who currently ranks on page one. Around that core it has a visual brainstorming tool, a daily rank tracker, a backlink checker and, more recently, a set of tools that check whether Google's AI Overviews and ChatGPT cite your site.

This article covers what Keyword Revealer does, what it costs, and what its terms say, and then goes through the keyword research tools we carry that do the same jobs. We do not sell Keyword Revealer. We do sell shared access to several of its competitors, so read our opinions with that in mind. Every Keyword Revealer figure below comes from keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026, and we say which page each one is on, because the site does not agree with itself about prices.

Quick verdict

  • Keyword Revealer is a simple, low-cost keyword tool for bloggers and niche site builders. Its difficulty score, its autocomplete-based brainstorm map and its daily usage counters are easy to understand, and the free plan is enough to try the workflow before you pay anything.
  • Pricing is hard to pin down. On keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026, the help center lists Basic at $19, Pro at $39 and Elite at $69 a month, the comparison pages advertise Pro at $1 for the first month and $27.97 after that, and the structured data behind the pages lists Pro at $12.99 a month. Its terms say fees are non-refundable under any circumstance, so check the figure at checkout.
  • If you want competitor research and more tools for less money, we sell Mangools (which includes KWFinder), Ubersuggest, Semrush and SE Ranking for $5 a month each, and our Essential Plan bundles Semrush and Ubersuggest for $10 a month. These are shared accounts with fair-use limits, not your own subscription, and Keyword Revealer is still the simpler choice if you only need a handful of lookups a day.

What Keyword Revealer is

Keyword Revealer has been around for years as a "find low-competition keywords" tool, and that is still how its site title describes it: "AI SEO & Low-Competition Keyword Tool" (keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026). The homepage has since moved its pitch towards answer engine optimization. The headline now talks about monitoring your brand's citations in Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT, and the first button runs an AI Overview simulation that needs no account, limited to 6 searches a day.

The same homepage claims more than 300,000 users and a 3.1 billion keyword database, and the sign-up page says "3B+ keywords analyzed" (both keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026). We cannot audit either figure. They are the vendor's own numbers, and they appear on its marketing pages rather than in any published methodology.

The help center's getting-started guide describes six tools inside the dashboard:

  1. Keyword Research, which returns suggestions with search volume, CPC and a keyword difficulty score.
  2. Keyword Brainstorming, which draws a mind map of related phrases.
  3. Rank Tracker, which checks your positions every day on Google desktop or mobile, down to city level.
  4. Backlink Analysis, which lists a domain's backlinks and referring domains.
  5. AI Visibility and Citation Tracking, which checks whether AI search engines cite your domain and gives it an "AI Citation Score".
  6. AI Simulator, which the guides describe in two ways: as a preview of which sources a Google AI Overview cites, and as a traffic forecast for moving up a few positions.

The first two are the reason most people look at Keyword Revealer. The rank tracker and backlink tool are useful extras, but they are lighter than what the large suites offer, and we come back to that below.

Keyword Revealer pricing

Keyword Revealer has no public pricing page. The URLs /pricing and /plans return a 404, and the terms of service point to a "#pricing" section of the homepage that is no longer there (keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026). What the site does publish is three different sets of prices on three different kinds of page.

The help center table

The "Platform Overview & Getting Started" guide in the help center has the most complete table, with daily limits for each tier (keywordrevealer.com/guides/getting-started, checked October 2026):

PlanMonthly / yearlySearches per dayEvaluations per dayTracked keywords
Free$0333
Basic$19/mo ($114/yr)502550
Pro$39/mo ($234/yr)300150250
Elite$69/mo ($414/yr)1,0005001,000

The same guide says all daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC, and a separate guide on monitoring usage says a tool locks for the rest of the day once you reach its limit. The limits are per day, not per month, which matters for how you work. If you research in bursts, say forty evaluations on a Sunday afternoon, the Basic plan stops you at 25 even if you did nothing all week.

The comparison pages

Keyword Revealer runs a set of "vs" pages against Ahrefs, Semrush, Mangools, Ubersuggest and others. The four we opened, for Ahrefs, Semrush, Mangools and Ubersuggest, each sell Keyword Revealer Pro at "$1 your first month, then $27.97/mo", and the Mangools and Semrush pages also say Pro costs $210 a year (keywordrevealer.com/alternatives, checked October 2026). The Mangools page also says a free plan is included with no credit card required.

The structured data

The pages also carry structured data for search engines, which a visitor never sees. It lists Pro at $12.99 a month or $99.99 a year and Elite at $24.99 a month or $199.99 a year (keywordrevealer.com, page source, checked October 2026).

So depending on where you look, Pro costs $12.99, $27.97 or $39 a month. Our guess is that the cards inside the app after sign-up show what you will be charged, and that the help center table is older than the current offer, but the site does not say so. The sign-up page adds a fourth detail: it promises a 7-day free trial (keywordrevealer.com/register, checked October 2026). Create an account, look at the upgrade screen, and read the amount on the checkout page before you enter a card.

Features that matter

Keyword difficulty you can explain

The difficulty score is the product's core. According to the help center guide on keyword difficulty (keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026), clicking "Evaluate" pulls the current Google top 10 and scores it from 0 to 100 using the ranking domains' authority and trust metrics, their page-level authority, whether the keyword appears in their titles, URLs and H1s, and their backlink counts. The guide splits the scale into four bands: 0 to 20 for brand-new sites, 21 to 35 for growing sites, 36 to 60 for sites with an existing link profile, and 61 and above for big brands.

That transparency is useful. You can see why a keyword scored 28 by looking at the ten pages behind it, and the guide's own advice, filtering for a maximum difficulty of 30 and phrases of three or more words, is a sensible way for a new blog to start. The catch is the evaluation limit. Suggestions are cheap, but each difficulty check counts against a daily allowance, and on Basic that is 25 a day.

The brainstorm map

Keyword Brainstorming takes a broad seed term and draws it as a tree of child phrases, which you can expand one node at a time. The guide says it uses search engine autocomplete data, and it suggests using the first ring of nodes as site categories and the second ring as post topics. It is the most distinctive thing in the product. Most of the large suites present the same data as a long table, and some people plan content more easily from a picture.

Rank tracking

The rank tracker checks positions daily for a domain, on desktop or mobile, by country and optionally by city, and flags when you rank in a SERP feature such as a featured snippet. The number of keywords you can track is the tightest limit on the cheaper plans: 50 on Basic and 250 on Pro, per the help center table above. The cancellation guide adds that once a paid plan lapses, rank tracking projects are paused and stop collecting data.

Backlink analysis

Enter a domain and the backlink tool lists total backlinks, referring domains and the split between followed and nofollowed links. It is enough to see roughly how a competitor earned its rankings. It is not a replacement for a dedicated link index, and Keyword Revealer does not say how large its index is or where it comes from.

AI citation tools

The newest part of the product is the AI Citation Score and the AI Overview simulator. The homepage pitches them as a way to see whether Google's AI Overviews, Perplexity and ChatGPT cite your pages. We have not tested the accuracy of these simulations, and the help center describes the "AI Simulator" both as a citation preview and as a traffic forecasting tool, so it is worth trying the free version on your own site before paying for it.

Terms worth reading before you pay

Keyword Revealer's terms of service are dated October 5, 2021 (keywordrevealer.com/terms, checked October 2026), which is older than most of the current product. Three points in them change the buying decision:

  • Refunds. The terms say subscription fees are non-refundable under any circumstance and that you can cancel before each renewal. The Mangools comparison page on the same site promises a "one-click" cancel with an "automated refund loop". When marketing copy and the terms disagree, assume the terms apply.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically, "typically 30 days", and your usage credits reload to the plan's allowance each period instead of adding up.
  • Account use. You may not share your password with anyone except employees covered by your package, and you may not transfer or sell the account.

The cancellation guide is friendlier than the terms. It says you can cancel from the Subscription tab in My Account and keep paid access until the end of the billing cycle. Before the cancel button, it shows two retention offers: 50% off for three months or one month free (keywordrevealer.com/guides/how-to-cancel-subscription, checked October 2026). If you were about to leave because of price, take the discount and use the extra months to decide.

Who Keyword Revealer is for

Keyword Revealer makes the most sense for these readers:

  • Bloggers and niche site builders starting from zero. The difficulty bands are written for them, and the "under 30, three or more words" approach in the guides is a reasonable first strategy.
  • People who do a few lookups a day. The free plan's 3 searches and 3 evaluations a day (help center table, checked October 2026) are enough to check an idea or two without paying anyone, including us.
  • Visual planners. If a mind map helps you plan a content silo better than a spreadsheet does, the brainstorm tool is the most distinctive thing about the product.
  • Anyone who wants their own account. Your rank tracking history, saved projects and settings are yours, and nobody else's usage eats into your limits.

It is a weaker fit for these readers:

  • Agencies and consultants who need competitor research. Looking up the keywords a competitor ranks for, their top pages and their traffic is what Semrush, Ahrefs and SE Ranking are built around, and it is not Keyword Revealer's strength.
  • Anyone who researches in long sessions. The daily evaluation limits favour steady, light use.
  • People who want to know the price before they sign up. With three different price lists on the site and no refunds, you only find out what you will pay after creating an account.

What you get through GroupbuySEO instead

We do not carry Keyword Revealer, and nothing we sell is access to it. What we carry is a group of keyword research tools that between them cover every Keyword Revealer feature except the brainstorm map and the AI citation tools. The table maps them against each other:

Keyword Revealer featureClosest tool we carryOur standalone price
Keyword suggestions with volume, CPC and difficultyMangools (KWFinder) or Ubersuggest$5/mo each
Competitor keyword researchSemrush or Ahrefs$5/mo or $25/mo
Daily rank trackingSE Ranking or Mangools (SERPWatcher)$5/mo each
Backlink analysisAhrefs, Semrush or SE RankingFrom $5/mo
Question and topic ideasAnswerThePublic$8/mo
Visual brainstorm mapNo direct equivalent; AnswerThePublic is the closestNone
AI citation score and AI Overview simulatorNo equivalent in our catalogueNone

Before you choose, know the main risk of buying this way. Most vendors' own terms do not allow shared access, ours included, and a vendor can close an account it flags. We bill monthly with no contract for that reason, so the most you can lose is the month you have already paid for.

Which plan includes which tool

Plan membership below is read from our catalogue data, not from memory:

  • Essential Plan, $10 a month for 5 tools: includes Semrush and Ubersuggest. It does not include Mangools, Ahrefs or SE Ranking.
  • Boost Plan, $15 a month for 11 tools: Semrush, Ubersuggest, SpyFu and Moz Pro.
  • Advanced Plan, $30 a month for 25 tools: Mangools, Semrush, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, Serpstat, SpyFu and Moz Pro. This is the smallest plan with Mangools or Ahrefs in it.
  • Ultimate Plan, $49 a month for 91 tools: every tool named in this article, including SE Ranking and AnswerThePublic, which no smaller plan has.

For pure keyword research the Essential Plan is the cheap entry point. Semrush and Ubersuggest bought separately come to $10 a month, the same as the plan, and the plan adds three writing tools at no extra cost. If you want KWFinder's difficulty score specifically, Mangools on its own at $5 a month is cheaper than any plan. Yearly billing through us charges ten months for twelve. Current figures for every plan and tool are on the pricing page.

What shared access means in practice

You open each tool from your GroupbuySEO dashboard with your own login, so you are not passed a username and password that a hundred other people also have. Access starts when payment confirms. Usage runs under fair-use limits, because the lookups on the underlying account are shared between members, and Ahrefs in particular has a daily request cap that heavy users reach.

Shared access is not your own subscription. You cannot change the account's settings, you are not the vendor's billing contact, and projects you set up, such as a rank tracking campaign, live on an account that other members also use. If you need private projects, client reports with your own branding or API access, buy the tool directly from its vendor.

Keyword Revealer alternatives available through us

Each tool below is in our catalogue today. Vendor prices come from each vendor's own pricing page on the date shown. Our fetcher reaches some of these sites from Europe, so a few answered in euros; where a site blocked the request, we link it and quote no number.

Mangools (KWFinder): the closest match

Mangools icon

Mangools is a suite of five tools, and its KWFinder module does almost exactly what Keyword Revealer's research tool does: seed keyword in, suggestions out, each with volume, CPC and a 0 to 100 difficulty score built from the current top 10. It also includes SERPWatcher for rank tracking, plus a SERP checker, a backlink tool and a site profiler. Mangools lists Basic at €37.70, Premium at €52.70 and Agency at €97.70 a month on annual billing (mangools.com/plans-and-pricing, checked September 2026), and its pricing FAQ offers a full refund within 48 hours of payment (same page, checked October 2026), which is more than Keyword Revealer's terms offer. Through us Mangools costs $5 a month on its own, and the Advanced and Ultimate plans both include it. Our KWFinder review covers the tool in more depth.

Ubersuggest: the low-cost all-rounder

Ubersuggest icon

Ubersuggest sits closest to Keyword Revealer on price and audience. It gives keyword ideas with volume, difficulty and CPC, content ideas from the pages that rank, a site audit and basic rank tracking, in a dashboard aimed at small business owners rather than SEO specialists. Ubersuggest's pricing page refused our automated request in October 2026, so we are not quoting its price; check neilpatel.com directly. We sell it for $5 a month standalone, and it is part of the Essential, Boost, Advanced and Ultimate plans.

Semrush: competitor research and a large keyword database

Semrush icon

Semrush is the tool to use when the question changes from "what could I rank for?" to "what is my competitor ranking for?". Its Keyword Magic Tool and keyword gap report cover the research side, and the rest of the suite adds position tracking, site audits and backlink data. Bought directly, the entry SEO plan was $117.33 a month on annual billing (semrush.com/prices, checked September 2026). When we checked again in October 2026 the page answered us in euros, at €134 a month on monthly billing, and it advertised a 7-day free trial. Through GroupbuySEO, Semrush costs $5 a month and is included in all five of our plans. Our Semrush vs Ahrefs comparison covers how the two big suites differ.

SE Ranking: rank tracking first

SE Ranking icon

SE Ranking is the pick if Keyword Revealer's rank tracker is the part you rely on. Its tracker is the centre of the product, with keyword research, a site audit and backlink tools around it. Its pricing page, which showed us euros, listed Core at €87.20 and Growth at €188 a month on annual billing, or €109 and €235 billed monthly, with a 14-day free trial and no card required (seranking.com/pricing.html, checked October 2026). It is $5 a month standalone through us, but the Ultimate Plan is the only plan that includes it. The SE Ranking review goes through it in detail.

Ahrefs: the deepest data, at a higher price

Ahrefs icon

Ahrefs is best known for its backlink index, and its Keywords Explorer shows the top 10 for a keyword with each page's links and traffic, which is the raw material for the difficulty judgement Keyword Revealer automates. For a hobby blog it is more tool than you need. ahrefs.com/pricing listed Starter at $29 and Lite at $129 a month (checked September 2026). It is our most expensive standalone at $25 a month, and it comes in the Advanced and Ultimate plans.

Three narrower options

Serpstat and SpyFu are both competitor-focused keyword tools, and SpyFu is especially strong on paid search history. AnswerThePublic turns a seed term into the questions and comparisons people search for, which is the nearest thing we have to Keyword Revealer's brainstorm map, although it draws a wheel of questions, not a tree. Serpstat and SpyFu are $5 a month each through us and AnswerThePublic is $8, and their direct prices are on their tool pages. If your interest is in suggestion tools generally, our Keywordtool.io review compares that category.

Where Keyword Revealer still wins

The tools above cost less a month through us than any paid Keyword Revealer plan, and Keyword Revealer is still the better buy in three cases.

Light use costs nothing

If you check two or three keywords a day, Keyword Revealer's free plan does that with no payment at all, and Semrush's free account offers 10 reports a day (semrush.com/prices, checked October 2026). Paying anyone, us included, only makes sense once you are researching regularly.

One simple dashboard

Keyword Revealer does a few things and explains each of them in plain language. Semrush and Ahrefs are large products with a learning curve, and a beginner who only wants "can I rank for this?" can find them overwhelming. Mangools is the nearest match on simplicity, which is why we put it first.

An account and data that are yours

With your own Keyword Revealer subscription, your rank tracking history and saved projects belong to you, and your daily limits are not shared with anyone. Shared access cannot offer that. If you track a client's rankings every day and report on them monthly, an account in your own name, from Keyword Revealer or from one of the vendors above, is the safer setup.

How to buy the alternatives through GroupbuySEO

  1. Decide whether you need one tool or several. For one job, open its page, for example Mangools for difficulty scores or Semrush for competitor research, and choose the standalone option. For two or more, compare the Essential, Advanced and Ultimate plans on the pricing page.
  2. Pay at checkout. Access activates when payment confirms, and you can cancel in any month.
  3. Open the tool from your GroupbuySEO dashboard and repeat a search you already ran in Keyword Revealer. Comparing the difficulty scores and volumes for the same seed keyword is the quickest way to see which tool's numbers you trust for your niche.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Keyword Revealer cost?

It depends on which page you read. On keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026, the help center lists Basic at $19, Pro at $39 and Elite at $69 a month, the comparison pages offer Pro at $1 for the first month and then $27.97 a month, and the page structured data lists Pro at $12.99 a month. There is no public pricing page, so check the amount at checkout after signing up.

Does Keyword Revealer have a free plan?

Yes. The help center table lists a free plan with 3 searches, 3 difficulty evaluations and 3 tracked keywords a day, and the homepage's AI Overview check works without an account for 6 searches a day (keywordrevealer.com, checked October 2026).

Can I get a refund from Keyword Revealer?

Its terms of service say subscription fees are non-refundable under any circumstance. You can cancel before the next renewal and keep paid access until the end of the billing cycle. One of its comparison pages mentions a refund, but the terms are what govern the purchase.

What is the best Keyword Revealer alternative?

For the same workflow, Mangools, whose KWFinder module also gives a 0 to 100 difficulty score from the current top 10. For competitor research, Semrush. For rank tracking, SE Ranking. All three are $5 a month standalone through us.

Do you sell Keyword Revealer?

No. GroupbuySEO does not carry Keyword Revealer, and nothing we sell is access to it. The tools in this article are separate products with their own data.

Is Keyword Revealer's keyword difficulty accurate?

It is an estimate, as every difficulty score is. Keyword Revealer bases it on the authority, on-page optimization and backlinks of the pages in the current Google top 10, so it is most useful for comparing keywords with each other. Open the top 10 yourself before you commit to a keyword you really want.

Is the access you sell to these tools genuine?

Yes. Each tool is a real paid account shared between members under fair-use limits, which you reach with your own GroupbuySEO login. Nothing is modified or pirated. You do not get API access or private projects, and because shared access sits outside most vendors' terms, a vendor can close an account, which is why we bill month to month.
